In recent years, the speedy development of industry accelerates Chinese economy; synchronously, the demand of Power is increasing. Nevertheless, the power industry is enduring great stress, e.g. the markup of coal results in the increase of cost, which request for the facility higher efficiency, lower maintenance costs. Therefore, maintenance is being more and more concerned in power plant. In this paper, Sequential inspection, one important maintenance mechanism is introduced, and then the paper will illustrate a software system concerning management and decision-making of Sequential inspection, which is designed with advanced management ideology, ISO9001-2000 international standard and practical experience. Now it has been applied in a power plant successfully and it has perfect functions: building and managing digital task criterion, procedural collection and disposal of working data, diagnosis and analysis of facility state, share of information etc. Practically the software system can aid the maintenance, strengthen facility management.
