With the rapid development of power system, the number of devices in power grid is increasing rapidly, such as transmission, substation, power distribution, and the number of power supply equipment is increased exponentially compared with the previous years. Power companies invest a lot of manpower and financial resources every year to ensure the safe and stable operation of the equipment. In view of these equipment maintenance work in the power company has formed the relevant rules and regulations, through regular maintenance work to check the operation of the inspection and maintenance, etc.. In this way, although solve some problems, but there is a phenomenon of excess maintenance. With the control technology, network technology and constant innovation, the stability of the equipment has been greatly improved. So in a certain level, this plan to overhaul the way there is a waste of human and financial resources. How to protect the equipment under the premise of stable operation, but also to spend very little manpower and material resources to solve it? To solve this problem, the power company is also actively carry out state of equipment maintenance work, try to according to the equipment of some historical information, operation information and the establishment of the corresponding evaluation method, then evaluates the running state of the equipment, and according to the assessment of the policy recommendations to refer to guide maintenance work.Firstly, this paper analyzes the practical background and significance of the balance decision support management in power grid maintenance, and studies the construction situation at home and abroad. Then to the system should have the function point to carry on the analysis, proposed the system should have the basic information maintenance, the monitoring and early warning, the state appraisal, the risk assessment, the decision-making suggestion and so on the function. Finally, the software engineering idea is adopted, and the whole process of the system is described in detail according to the design, implementation and testing stages. This system mainly uses the J2 EE standard based on B/S architecture mode, in the development of language, the use of open source and cross platform java development language, the database uses the Oracle relational database. Through the actual input of the system, it has a strong technical support for the maintenance of the power grid.
