With the development of the quality of life and the modern intelligent buildings, building is always equipped with multiple elevators for the improvement of the service quality and the reliability. However, the increasing of the number of elevators merely not only couldn't meet the multi-object need, but also causes serious problems of the environmental pollution and the energy cost and the low operating efficiency. What the elevator group control system deals with is a stochastic, multi-object decision-making with complex, no-linear and uncertainty. So, the modern building adopts the technology of the elevator group control to improve the service quality and the operating efficiency, reduce the energy cost. Based on summarizing some domestic and overseas research advance of elevator group control system, the thesis reviews the development of the elevator system, analyzes the current direction of the technology of the elevator group in the world, and outlines the purposes and the significations of the project. The elevator traffic determines the dispatching strategy of the elevator group control system. The thesis analyses the characters of elevator traffic system firstly, further point out the identifying of traffic pattern by the statistics about the elevator traffic. The thesis is focus on the introduction of a dispatching model of the elevator group control system with the method of multi-object optimization. The thesis analyses the multi-object need of the group control system firstly, further introduces the math modal of multi-object optimization, and provides the solution of the elevator dispatching. Dues to the stochastic and uncertainty of elevator group system, the experience of control are very important. The thesis studies the characters of the system, designs the basic group control regulations and the dispatching strategy. At last the thesis introduces the realization and the testing of the elevator group control system.
