In recent years, with the rapid development of economy and the improvement of people’sliving standards, more and more high-rise buildings and intelligent buildings appear in cities.As one of the most important vertical transportation, a single elevator cannot satisfy peoples’demands any longer. The transportation capacity, service quality and the efficiency ofelevators are required higher and higher. In order to shorten people waiting time, elevators’running time and reduce elevators’energy losse,more elevators should be installed and thecontrol of elevators should be unified.This kind of elevators optimal control system is elevatorgroup control system (EGCS)。In modern intelligent buildings, people always equip for a building several elevatorsbecause of all kinds of demand of passengers and big flux of passengers. That can improveservice quality and service efficiency of system of elevators. It makes the building work well.The technique of group control of elevator is suitable for realization the above object. Whatthe group control of elevators traffic system deals with is a complex, random, multi-object,decision-making problem with much non-linear and uncertainty. Therefore,system model andthe research of EGCS strategy have an important theoretical significance.PLC(Programmable Logical Controller) is widely used in all fields of the industry controland is noted for its high stability. Today, new generation of PLC is more powerful, moreflexible. Now PLC has ranked one of the three major equipments for modern industrycontrol.Under such background, This paper presents a new elevator group control systemplatform based on GE Intelligent Platforms controller and multi-objective control algorithm.this paper studies the multi-objective elevator group control systems.Due to the complexity ofthe system,it is necessary to use the optimal dispatch method.By analyzing the multi-objectneed of the group control system.The thesis establishes the multi-objective optimizationmodel,proposes the identification method of the traffic pattern,and provides schedulingstrategy and group control method under different traffic pattern. In this Paper,the Composition of EGCS are briefly introduced; it focuses on how to setup a3sets of5layers of Elevator Group Control Algorithm hardware platform based on GERX3i system, Versamax E05PLC, industrial Ethernet and remote i/o modules, And completethe elevator group control algorithm of the ladder program preparation. Then, drawing on theresults of the studies, the characteristics of the elevator transport system carried out asystematic study, the establishment of the elevator group control system model, analysis of thepassenger elevator group control system status, the application to the nearest, Ladder to be theshortest such as the performance index of the group control control method, and Test thescheduling of the elevator group control system been set up. the Results shows theeffectiveness of the elevator group control system.
