In recent years, the plastic molding equipment is growing rapidly stepped by the increase of application of plastic in industries such as automobile, home electric appliances, building, foods, medicine and etc. The plastic injection molding machine, as the main equipment of plastic molding, has made great progress. Plastic injection molding machine is becoming complex, large-scale and smarter, and its demand of control system become stronger and higher.Much research on general controller of hydraulic plastic injection molding machine is being done through my past two years, and the result sounds well. The designed controller has satisfied the major control demand of hydraulic plastic injection molding machine. Its overall function and performance have leveled up to the overseas advanced ones and some particular items exceeded. The main research work and result of this thesis are listed as follow:1. The present situation of the plastic injection molding machine industry is described, also development trend of plastic injection molding technology. The history and status of controller of plastic injection molding machine are summarized.2. The main structure of present plastic injection molding machine control system is introduced, and the hydraulic plastic injection molding machine' demand to controller is put forward. Base on the reference to the advanced controllers, overall design of the general controller of hydraulic plastic injection molding machine is shown.3. Basic steps of technical flow of plastic injection molding machine is taken out with special steps, and their control strategies are analyzed. Base on the demand of plastic injection molding, control method of automatic injection molding procedure is formed. The affect of technical parameters on product quality is considered, and strategies of quality control are designed.4. The related control scheme is discussed to solve such problems as nonlinear,lag and close coupling characters of material pipe's temperature after research. A control strategy of material pipe's temperature, single loop with decoupling function, is proposed.5. The demand of convenient human machine interface by operator of the machine is reviewed, and it comes true in our controller. Some actual displays copied from our controller are shown.6. Real-time communication is designed to meet the need of interior data exchange and exterior information transportation.
