| This dissertation mainly researches the application of Virtual Prototyping on the dynamical analysis of cranes. Because of the growth of global economy, the quantities of international trade increase incessantly, and most of them are achieved by the container transportations. This requires the cranes' performances to be improved, so traditional static analysis and design methods can't satisfy it.Firstly, the dissertation shows the basic ideas of applying ADAMS and ANSYS to analyze dynamic problems. Then a complete virtual prototype of a quayside container crane is built, the effects on the lugs by the links' swing under this situation are studied. The dissertation aims on the research of the dynamic factor of hoisting. First kinds of criterion of calculating the dynamic factor for cranes are summarized, and the dynamic models of quayside container cranes are studied in this dissertation. Then the virtual prototypes under two typical working situations are built, and the dynamic factor of hoisting by dynamic simulations is researched.Research results of this paper can not only be used on cranes' dynamic analysis, but also can be easily extended to other areas, such as the conceptual design confirmations and optimization, and so on. The application of this technology would solve a lot of problems faced by the designs of the large engineering machinery, to reduce its costs and time, to promote the design level of large engineering machinery in our country. |
