Quayside container double-box operation is an essential requirement for the development of the market.The correct evaluation of the quayside container crane capable of dual-box operation is of great significance.Domestic and foreign scholars have done a lot of work at this area,but previous studies cover too broad,there is no authoritative evaluation index system,and lack of process innovation.This paper first summarizes on the research development of quayside container crane evaluation.Then it analyzes the types of terminal handling process,and points out that the significance of twin container operation.After that,in the basis of previous studies,it selects 5-level indicators which are the economic level,security level,ability level,efficiency level, other levels,and is subdivided into 13 secondary indicators,26 third indicators.By using AHP to determine the weights of the various indicators,this paper establishes a twin container operation of quayside container crane Evaluation System Selection.Then,an empirical study is carried out by the K Port Container Terminal to evaluate Quay A,B,C.It collects the relevant data and carries out the Delphi expert survey results in the industry and academia, finally this paper uses fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to build model and evaluates and compares the level of three cranes,in the end,this paper advances specific suggestions to K Port to raise container handling efficiency.
