Silt-trap dam is key project for soil and water losses controlling of erosion gully in the region of the middle reaches of the Yellow River. In recent years, by using methods of system engineering, and with the help of computer, the optimum programming of dam system is improving day and day deep going. Although, some positive results had been achieved. The mathematics models that had been received are very complex and the results con not meet the condition in practice. So, the old models con not be extended.As the objective function of the silt-trap dam project's optimization, whether the calculation of the economy benefit of silt-trap dam is correct or not has decisive significance to the reliability of optimizing result. The thesis provides the computer model of silt-trap dam economy using years, determines the altering rules of dam area and guaranteed benefit efficiency; gives the computer method and correct formula of dynamic economy benefit of silt-trap dam. All of these are the foundation of the optimum model of time sequence of dam system.On the basis of the economy benefit analysis, why the time sequence is the important problem in the model has been elaborated. A practical model on the time sequence of the dam system is gived according to the full conditions. We use the nonlinear programming to solve the model. The practical deposited time is a more important factor in the process. In the third section, we have gived a more detailed information. At last, we have used the model on the two dam systems in the different areas. There regulars have been gained from the computer result. Some advices have been gived for the deep research in the future.
