| Existing structures will deteriorate and damage because of the naturalenvironment and long-term usage. The deterioration of the structural behavior andthe damage inside the structure will affect the safety and suitability of the structure.There are large numbers of buildings serving for long time in our country. Most ofthem need evaluating due to the changes of usage functions or the failure ofdurability of structures and on the basis of these evaluations corresponding measureswill be taken to maintain their reliability. So, adopting more reasonable method ofevaluating existing buildings' reliability is the precondition that evaluating buildingsexactly and reasonably, study on reliability evaluation of existing structure bearstremendous economic and society benefit .In this paper, the primary problems belong to the current method of reliabilityevaluation of existing buildings are pointed out. Aiming at these problems, therandom course model of resisting force which has taken several factors into accountand the random course model of load which has taken the influence of re-serve terminto account are putted forward based on the dynamic reliability theory. Also, on thebasis of optimization theory , one new mathematical method of calculating thereliability is put forward which relates to two models mentioned above. Consideringthe current evaluation principia and the application level of reliability theory, a waythat evaluate structure system reliability based on the member reliability gradeassessed by means of reliability index is indicated. Consequently, based on all thestudy above, a new way of reliability assessment aiming at exiting buildings isestablished.According to the current code of < standard for appraiser of reliability of civilbuildings, the reliability appraisal software of civil buildings is programmed for thepurpose of project application. |
