The automatic, intelligent and systematic construction machinery is not only animportant trend of future development, but also a focus of the researches. With theimprovement of the automatic, intelligent and systematic level of constructionmachinery, the efficiency and quality of construction have been improved quickly, buton the other hand the maintenance and repair of machines have become more difficult,and the losses have increased constantly when the machines are in failure. Aiming atthe working intelligent construction machinery group, a status monitoring and faultdiagnosis system is designed for monitoring the status and diagnosing faults ofmachines in the group on real time. This system can offer the basis to thedecision-making of the maintenance and control for the group, and then theconstruction process can be carried through successfully.The main research contents of this dissertation are listed here:(1) The development and status quo of correlative fields are reviewed and analyzed,the necessity of developing the status monitoring and fault diagnosis system based onGSM/GPRS for intelligent construction machinery group is presented, and the chiefresearch content is indicated.(2) The architecture model of the status monitoring and fault diagnosis system isestablished. And the design plans for status monitoring sub-system on individualmachines, fault diagnosis center and wireless communication system based onGSM/GPRS are introduced.(3) The actualization scheme for the system is presented, which include theparameters which are selected for monitoring machines, the intelligentizing alterationof individual machines, the actualization project of the wireless communicationsystem based on GSM/GPRS, the actualization project of the mobile orientationsystem based on GPS, the actualization project of the fault diagnosis center.(4) The application of the system on the construction is introduced. In theconstruction process, the performance and reliability of the system were tested.(5) Finally, all main conclusions and further research suggestions are given.
