| A intelligent system in Global Positioning and remote monitoring for Construction Machinery has been developeded. It has taken the grab machine as the monitoring object and selected some advanced technology, such as GSM ( Global System for Mobile ), GPS (Global Position System ), PPI (Point to Point Interface ). The system is made of a remote data acquisition terminal and a monitoring system which possesses multifunction in remote data acquisition, Global Position, status monitoring and alarm, and information inquiry. The main research outcomes are as follows:1. Based on GSM/GPS technology, the data Acquisition terminal has been designed. For instance: MCU is used as the controller, GSM as the communication component, GPS as the Global Position component, PPI as the data exchange interface with PLC controller, and they communicate through their own channels respectively without disturbance.2. According to the special function demands of the grab machine, a series of practical communications protocol has been made. Through the assembly language, the working software has been programmed for realizing the information security authentication, gathering real-time datas of the PLC's status parameters and GPS position, receiving and sending short message by GSM.3. By using the virtual instrument software, Lab windows/CVI 6.0, a monitoring software has been developed for the working machine. This software can finish all the tasks in remote data acquisition, demonstration, original data display, the geographic information inquiry, alarm and so on.4. By inputting the geographic information system development control—Map X control, the thesis puts forward a Lab Windows/CVI method of position show-and -follow dynamic goal, meets the request of the globe position and real-time position show of construction machinery, in addition, the real-time inquiry of different information will be made possibly in construction machinery through data binding... |
