The Countermeasure Of Traditional University Campus Renewal And Development

The aim of our research is based on the fact that many old campuses should bereused better. The research begins with meliorating the basic elements--buildings andbuildings′layout in environments of parts of old campus. and tries to get a strategyrenewing the resources of old campus which ranges from parts melioration to wholeoptimization , under the conditions of making the most of old buildings, environmentsand structures.In foreword, it summarizes the subject background and practical importance, and themethod and range are illuminated.Then, the first chapter directly indicated the practical significance of optimizingcampus reuse for the traditional universities of our country.Different design thinking and principles of renewing and developing traditionalcampus were introduced, and give some renewal examples of internal and foreign oldcampus in the chapter two. In the third chapter, factors influencing old campus reconstruction and manypractical problems in the current renewal and development were pointed out.The chapter four, in allusion to these phenomenon's, puts suitable renewal strategiesand designing sleights. And the last chapter points out new trends of developingtraditional campus in the future.Finally, it is expected that this paper is able to provide a new perspective in practicerelated to old campus renewal design.
