Research On The Strategy Of Interactive Development With The Society And Sustainable Application For Tianjin University Old Campus

The rapid development of Chinese advanced education leads to more studentsenrolled in to universities. New campus has become a nation-wide commonphenomenon. At the same time, with the progress of cooperation between industry,study, research and the cooperative creation method, Chinese university is heading toan era of competition and renovation. Research fruit exchanging ability is moreimportant than research ability itself in the competition of different universities. Fromthe perspective of long-term development of university, university should put moreattention on the Industry-study-research cooperation, make effort for cooperativeinnovation, get more communication with the society, share the resource, andtransform the research ability into enormous productivity, and push the developmentof both university and the society forward.In this huge background of era, to face the opportunity and challenge of new andold campus of Tianjin University in developing process, this article focuses on therelationship of the research ability of university and the industry distribution in thecity.First of all, through case study, the characteristics and experience of native andinternational university in industry co-operation with the society is concluded fromfour aspects. Then, according to the analysis of the outstanding subject in TianjinUniversity and the industry distribution of Tianjin, advice on subject arrangement isproposed. Furthermore, based on the survey of old campus and the estimate of data,the land choosing, function arrangement and scope of the Industry-study-researchCooperation program is presented. Finally, according to the actusl condition, from theperspective of campus environment and public memory, the strategy of currentarchitecture reuse and new architecture construction is put forward.
