The solar heat gain through external windows in summer consumes thirty to forty percent of the total building air-conditioned energy consumption in Hot Summer and Warm Winter Zone. Building shading is a reasonable method of building energy efficiency in Shenzhen even in the whole south zone, it is also an emphasis and key technology of buildings energy efficiency in these zones.At present, national standards including Graduation and test method for thermal insulating properties of windows (GB8484-2002) and Graduation and test method for air infiltration of windows (GB71017-2002) regulate the two indexes of thermal transmittance and air infiltration of windows, but the standards don't involve the test method for building shading performance of windows. Building external shading calculation method is put forward based energy consumption simulation results in the standards of Hot summer and warm winter zone (JGJ75-2003) and Design standard for energy efficiency of public buildings (GB 50189-2005), but it aims at simple fixed external shading and misfits complicated shading devices, so the validity and rationality of regulation don't gain validation. Based on detailed analysis for optics and thermal performance of windows shading devices (including external shading, internal shading, object shading, and blind shading), experimental testing method for building performance and corresponded testing facility are brought forward and developed. Based on MCGS configuration internet applications, the data collection software for temperature and heat flow is developed. This software has following advantages compared traditional other software:â‘ Software's user interface is friendship, operation is simple and practical.â‘¡The system's regulation performance is very good because of its source procedure is opening.Based on developed experimental testing facility, the shading performances of southing horizontal shading devices, vertical shading devices and integrative shading devices of external windows are measured, the performance parameters including indoor temperature, air-conditioned cooling load and shading coefficient as so on. And the shading coefficient of experimental test results and calculation results based on design standard for building energy efficiency are compared, and the WINDOWS5.2 simulation results are compared also.
