Water is a very important factor in construction of deep foundation pit.With theexcavating of the deep foundation pit ,dewatering is always needed,but the large difference ofwater head can make the flow through the pore of soil more intensively,so it can affect thedistortion of the retaining structure of foundation pit,and it can make bad influence to the areaaround pit .Waterproof wall should be constructed ,as it can dewater foundation pit andreduce sedimentation of the construction around the foundation pit. So it is very needed tostudy on the seepage field of foundation pit with waterproof wall and to analysis thecharacteristic of the seepage field. In this paper ,some aspects of this problem were studied asfollows: Firstly , based on the discussion of steady seepage equation , successive seepage equationand definite solutions qualification, from the discussion on the process of the development ofseepage theory,no-steady seepage's basic FEM equation is founded. Secondly, it gives a brief introduction of GEO-SLOPE software , and analysis anexample using SEEP/W .Comparing five different cases ,some conclusions were drawn asfollows: it was very needed to construct waterproof wall to deal with water of foundation pit;larger inserting depth ,better dealing with the water;if the waterproof wall got a badquality ,it can make more danger to the foundation pit and the area around it . Finally ,through the numeric simulation of seepage field in an example's excavatingprogress using SEEP/W ,it is found that constructing waterproof wall is very needed andnumeric simulation is very useful to the construction of foundation pit. |
