Light gauge steel construction whose structural framing is constitutive of cold-formed steel members has been on a rapidly increasing scale and has been used for low residential construction widely in the world since the construction has a series of prominent advantages such as light weight, high strength and stiffness, energy saving, environmental protection, ease of prefabrication and mass production, fast and easy erection and installation and so on, but its research and application has just begun in our country.To promote the application and development of light gauge steel framed residential dwellings in our country, the research on structural performance of light gauge steel framinw should be enhanced and the structural system according with architectural system should be developed. Not long ago, a brand-new construction system named websteel environment -protecting residence which is exploited by Qingdao maihua websteel structure residential exploitation Ltd., a joint venture financed by China and Canada. Concerning the tests, analyses, design and calculation of performances for light gauge steel Framing, this paper focuses on following items:(1) on the basis of experiments, the lateral resistance behavior of new type of light-gauge steel composite wall is researched.The behavior of resisting lateral loadings of wall mostly depends on the tension rods and cover surface's structural panels, the number of them will effect the behavior of resisting lateral loadings remarkably.(2) the parameter used in the during of creat the mode is confirm: light-gauge steel composite wall was predigested cover surface's structural board by the experiments data and conclusion.(3) design mothod of light gauge steel framed residential configuration is studied. Creat the three-dimensional finite element model of websteel structural building using ANSYS for the purpose of static characteristic analysis, check the structure of and displacement and carrying capacity.In brief, the structural performance of light gauge steel framing in six floor residerrti al dwellings is studied. The innovation of structural system is emphasized. Besides, a series of academic researches are conducted and verified by corresponding experimentations. It is significative and propulsive that study light gauge steel framed system both in theory and in practice. |
