Mathematical simulation and synthetical optimization are main methods ofthermodynamic system. As thermodynamic system being widely practiced andgrowing complexer and larger, some issues of modeling and designing optimizationneed to be solved. Such as conventional thermodynamic system modeling andsimulating methods, which are aimed at simple thermal cycles, are not applicable tosystem modeling and design optimization, system modeling and the precision ofdesign optimization may also give rise to consequentiality infections to systemperformance and characteristic rules.Some relevant researches have been done and some important conclusions havebeen given in this thesis, based on a lot of references and previous research achievementsand sponsored by the National High Technology Research and Development Program (863Program). The main contents are as follows.System models and integrated methods of thermodynamic system are summarized.the model of representative assemblys with high universale and precise have been buildthrough modular modeling. Three computational methods of system model have beendiscussed. The universality and precision have been enhanced through several effectiveand feasible approaches.The methods of precise optimization of IGCC were investigated. by dint of someeffective and feasible methods, seek for more precise optimum point of systemdesign variates. And then the infections of precise optimization to system performance andcharacteristic rules were discussed.The concept design of IGCC system and optimization of typical IGCC case wasinvestigated. Combined with the state of the art of IGCC and the universal configuration anddesigned demand, the design optimization of typical IGCC case is investigated through thecorrelative models and optimal software. The effectiveness of high universal and precisemodeling and feasibility of precise optimization were validated through relative casestudies.Above-mentioned research achievements will provide theory support, specificinformation for further study on simulation, analysis, design, optimization and etc, andprovide methods of concept design of IGCC system and feasible system schema for largescale IGCC power plants.
