| By the application of visible software in the power grid dispatching work, the difficultyof power flow computation can be reduced and clear awareness of power grid operation canbe obtained quickly. PowerWorld Simulator is a visible power system simulation packagewith excellent user interface and interactivity. Colorful single diagram with motion picturesof power systems can be constructed easily by user. Power flow computation and contingencyanalysis under transmission line or generator N-1 outage conditions can be finishedconveniently. With the PowerWorld simulator, the power flow analysis and electrical powersupply capability of Bayannaoer district are calculated in the thesis. The load level oftransmission lines and transformers are obtained and the vulnerable parts of Bayannaoerpower grid are found. Some remediable control measures after N-1 contingency are proposed.The research results show that utilizing visible power flow analysis software in district powergrid dispatching work is valid.
