A visiblesoftware named power world simulator was used to analysis the power flow and electrical power supply capability of Fang Shan distribution. In the thesis, mathematic models were established. The vulnerable buses were found through the models, and the load level of 110kV transmission lines and transformers, note voltages were obtained, also N-1 analysis of 110kV lines was done. The vulnerable parts of Fang Shan were found and an overall assessment of Fang Shan grid was given. The research results show that using visualization technology makes the variety states of power grid intuitive, so assessment staff may have an in-depth understanding on the entire grid and resolve problems timely or avoid grid problems in accordance with predictive value in advance. It has an important theoretical significance and practical value on reducing the assessment workload and increasing accuracy of assessment.
