With the development of our country's economy,there is an increasinglydemand for automobiles. How to improve the machine quality and productivityhas becoming a very important problem in the field of automobile.Thecylinderclock, as one part of automobile, it's machining precision andproductivity will effect the quality and productivity of automobile directly. Atpresent, it has become an important problem to study how to improve the cuttingproductivity and machining precision of the automobile's cylinderclock.Based on investigating the cylinderclock technology of many productionlines and consulting and studying a lot of relevant data and papers, the authoranalyses the machining process and the application of high speed cuttingtechnology in machining cylinderclock. After studying and analyzing of theprocess and procedure, the author designed the machining process of thecylinderclock wholly.The author analyzed the time and balance of machining the cylinderclockby studying the procedure of the machining. The author also studied theprocesses of high-speed milling and high-speed boring of the cylinderclock andanalyzed the machining precision and it's effect factor. Finally, the authordesigned the high-speed cutting process of the cylingderclock and analyzed theworking procedure.The manufacture practice indicated that the procedures and process arefeasible for it took into account convergence and decentralization and it hadcertain flexibility and procedure of the production is stabilized and reliable. Thefindings of the paper have some certain reference value.
