AC contactors operate much frequently,and dynamic characteristics of actuating mechanism of AC contators must be researched in order to exceed the specified operating life.There are two purposes to research dynamic characteristis of actuating mechanism:one side calculating action time of AC contactors;on the other hand making sure proper fit of suction and opposite force in action process so that not only assuring reliability of action,but also improving mechanical impact,uprating electric and mechanical life.This paper chose CJX2-6311 AC contactor as research object,and implemented dynamic simulation of closing process of actuating mechanism of the contator.First,a 3D model of actuating mechanism of AC contactor was established using the Pro/ENGINEER software,Iater the model was leaded in ANSYS and ADAMS through the special interfaces for farther simulation analysis,and the workload of modeling was decreased.Secondly,from the point of view of field,according to the finite element method, the 3D static DSP analysis of double E electromagnetic mechanism of AC contactor was completed. Flux linkage and suction values under different gap and excitation current were acquired,and the table of relationship between current/gap and electromagnetic suction/flux linkage of the electromagnetic actuator was obtained.Thirdly, visual simulation of actuating mechanism of AC contactor was carried out using ADAMS under different switch phase angle and excitation voltage.This paper merged mechanism dynamic simulation and obtaining dynamic parameters as a process,only needed to consider voltage balance equation.Parameters like current,displacement and so on were obtained after simulation,and simulation results were in good agreement with test results.Fourthly,optimization design according to dynamic index was attempted on ADAMS platform.The paper completed dynamic simulation of actuating mechanism of AC contactor using ANSYS and ADAMS.The research results in this paper is significant to researching dynamic characteristics and optimization of AC contactors.This project combined the national natural science fund project "study on uncertainty of dynamic response of contact of counterpunching AC contactor" with the aid of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
