This paper summarize the domestic and foreign scraper conveyor development survey, the present situation and the development tendency, analyze the question flaw with our country in the scraper conveyor design, as well as existence disparity with overseas . This thesis is base on this kind of question, propose the effective solution use finite element method carries on strength analysis and optimization to the scraper conveyor track base.This paper according to the plane drawing establish model which one Coal Mining machinery company provide. First use three dimensional cartography software to complete the scraper conveyor track base geometry model, import the finite element analysis Patran to carry on the revision, make it become the finite element model, creat mesh exerts the boundary condition and the load, definition material attribute, and submits Nastran to strength analysis. Then discover destruction spot easily according to the computed result, analysis destruction reason, finally under the assembly permission condition according to the actual production carries on the optimization, find the solution. Analysis optimize model, guarantees it satisfy with mode demand. The optimized scraper conveyor track base structure more reasonable, the stress distribution more homogenization, reduced as a result of the engine off which the track base destruction and replacement. To creat more economic efficiency for the company.
