The Research And Implementation Of Embedded Network Controller And It's Control System

With the rapid development of computer technology and network information technology, the field of industrial control has also had the new change. The progress of Ethernet technology such as the certainty, the speed of transmission and the priority of information, specially the utilization of embedded technology enabled the network and intelligent controller. The application of the new technology made a reliable, maintainable control network with highly integrated information and the completely opened system become realizable.According to the request of complicated and networked control system, there need an intelligent, reliable controller with abundant network function and high integrative performance in the industrial production field. In order to meet these requirements, this topic studied and designed an embedded network controller and it's control system.This controller adopts embedded technology, uses high-performance,industrial-grade ARM microprocessor------S3C2410X, embedded Linux, hasEthernet and PROFIBUS-DP interface, connects I/O expanded module, LCD display and touch screen. It can easily realize the control of field device with friendly HMI.This article firstly narrated the meaning and the intention of the research, analyzed the present research status of the similar products in the domestic and foreign;then introduced the hardware structure of the embedded network controller, talked about the selection of embedded system and GUI system, and built the software development platform;after that it realized the R/W function of the controller's I/O port, analyses the network communication of controller, realized the interconnection ofcontrollers and the network communication among the controllers and the monitor PC, those communications agreed with the TCP/IP protocol, and developed embedded HMI at last.This embedded network controller has abundant network function, well openness and expandability. This controller satisfied the design requirements and it has been used in the engineering.
