With the development of computer, as well as communication and controltechnology, the traditional industry control field is going through an unprecedentedchange, developing towards networking. In order to meet the industry control needs infuture this paper has designed and realized a embedded network controller.In this paper, author has designed and realized one powerful embedded networkcontroller with AT91RM9200 which is a 32bits microprocessor with one Ethernetinterface, two CAN bus interface, one 485 bus interface, one RS-232 serial businterface, one USB host interface, one USB device interface, 8 channels 12-bits AD, 2channels 12-bits DA, 2 channels PWM output, one 4×4 keyboard and one 64×128pits LCD man-machine Interface. And based on it along with the RTOS (Real TimeOperation System)-μC/OS-II, the paper thoroughly discusses how to establish adevelopment platform of embedded software.Based on the analysis of the standard TCP/IP protocol, embedded TCP/IPprotocol is realized in the controller, which makes the controller can connect toIntranet or Internet. After investigating and analyzing CANopen protocol thoroughly,author has realized embedded CANopen protocol in controller, which makes thecontroller stronger in communication ability and network control ability, and offersthe experiment platform for studies of new-type network controls algorithms. In orderto meet need of communication of equipment layer, author also studiedMicroCANopen protocol and made it can be applied to low cost microcontrollers suchas P89C51RD2.On the basis of finishing the embedded network controller hardware andsoftware design, author had applied the controller to the virtual elevator system andlogic controller of the physical elevator model, making them able to meet the need ofREMS (remote monitor system) and group control experiment's of elevators. Finally,combining with the computer control laboratory construction, the structure of networkexperiment platform of three layers of industrial networks (information layer, thecontrol layer and equipment layer) had been finished. It has realized the real networkinterconnection of the labware, and offered a high-performance platform for studies ofnetwork control.
