With the rapid development of China's economic, sea shipping has become an important part of the transport field .It is an important problem to improve the quality and the maintenance of sea shipping system. And it is a key step to realize navigation mark automatic how to improve the quality of inland river maintenance and management level. At present, although the navigation mark monitoring system has made much progress, the inland river accidents still occur frequently result from bad performance of monitoring system causing mostly. So it brings new topics for research and development of technologies and equipments about watch-dog and method for the long-rang navigation mark monitoring system.Because of technical reasons in traditional navigation mark monitoring system, its performance is not yet perfect. It seriously constrains inland river automation level. Navigation mark monitoring system is based on SOPC. The system makes use of GPS technology, GSM technology, computer technology and communications technology to achieve intelligent management. The system utilizes GPS position data and navigation mark working state information, through the prompt transmission of GSM sending to monitoring center . Montoring centor carry on real-time data to show on the electronic map. Then the control center forces daytime lighting functions, the whole system realizes real-time monitoring.According to controlling the environment and technical requirement, the text has realized the monitoring system of navigation mark based on SOPC technology. This system adopts UP31C6 of Altera Company as the developing platform of the hardware, utilizing EDA tool to finish NIOS systematic disposition, include choosed IP nuclear, CPU setting , every interface design of module , confirm system interconnected logic , assign pin of FPGA ,etc. Utilize NIOS SDK Shell environment and software development to wrap up (SDK) the software development of realizing the detection system. Through processing GPS measuring data, the system reduces error and promt the system precesion.Experiment and test indicate that the system has the characteristic of low consumption and stable performance. So the system can satisfy the factual need.
