This paper employs FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software ANSYS to analyze and research on the structure of the revolving platform on one new railway crane - large-tonnage and double-revolving railway crane. And analysising some picture of the structure of the revolving platform of German's railway crane, this paper gives one new structure of the revolving platform. Then the structure is analyzed and adjusted, finally one new structure is put forword. It's proved that the new structure is better than the structure designed by German's company. First this paper introduces the status in quo and development orientation, and then introduces some correlative knowledge, e.g. elasticity mechanics theory and FEM theory. Finally, the software ANSYS is introduced in brief. This paper analyzes and studies the structure of revolving platform of the large-tonnage and double-revolving railway crane;especially the two slewing bearings are analyzed in detail, and then the paper gives several new different structures of the revolving platform. The paper makes research on those revolving platforms. And through the research, analysis and contrast, this paper chooses one structure, which simulates one structure designed by Germany's company. The type of revolving platform is the combination of the up- revolving platform and the down-revolving platform, and the balance weight which can be stretched out or drawn back is on the down-revolving platform. Through the powerful structure analysis ability of ANSYS, the paper creates the FEA models of the up-revolving platform and the down-revolving one, and then has them combined. The structure's intensity and stiffness of the revolving platform is analyzed. First, the paper creates the FEA models of the up-revolving platform and analyzes its intensity and stiffness, and then adjusts the type of the up-revolving platform and some parameter. Second, the down-revolving platform is analyzed too. Finally, the up-revolving platform and the down-revolving one, which are combined into one structure, are analyzed.The computing result of the paper, which has been analyzed by ANSYS software several times, shows that the large-tonnage and double-revolving railway crane's revolving platform has met the intensity requirements. And through the analysis of the revolving platform of the large-tonnage and double-revolving railway crane, the paper presents the local stress of the structure and points out the dangerous position of the revolving platform. Therefore, the paper provides some references and suggests when the structure of large-tonnage and double-revolving railway crane is designed further or modified to make the future design and analysis more reliable, accurate and economic.
