With the rapid development of modern high-speed railway, moveable-turnout insufficient displacement is the key factor to restrict improving train speed, especially when we develop highspeed railway.The paper aimed at NO.18 moveable-turnout of special line for passengers , based on structure and work mechanism of moveable-turnout , established and discussed restriction conditions for moveable-turnout, such as bolts and junctions , confiner steel bar both in number and position;the paper got a reasonable restriction conditions and restriction equation. Under the restriction conditions and restriction equation, by calculation and analysis , it found out the law of reaction force and distortion of point with the factors of turnout , such as friction coefficient, fastener horizontal rigidity, movable length , traction spacing adjustment and so on.It pointed out that smooth bed friction is the root of insufficient displacement, the insufficient displacement and traction force are in direct proportion to friction coefficient;traction machine number and position have great influence also, which can optimize insufficient displacement and traction force;when point presses close to rail, it will bring great force instantly, so we must have a strict and precise requirement with the traction point design displacement.At last ,the paper provided several novelty ideas to make a research to reduce insufficient displacement, by reducing friction coefficient or changing from sliding friction into rolling friction , or by changing smooth bed structure to reduce friction force or change its distribution.
