To solve the steering-wheel vibration problem of a car, improve the car ride comfort, lighten intensity of driver's weariness, and heighten the competitive power of the car, a systemic analysis on the steering-wheel vibration is conducted.With the development of society, the continuous improvement of people's life, and rapid development in traffic, automobile is stepped into many families continually. Meanwhile, China automotive market is in skyrocketing growth. The competition of China automotive market is more serious. To ensure the possessed rate in automotive market, all automotive company is forced to improve the quality and performance of their automotive productions.Automotive ride comfort is one of the most important performances of automobile. Many automotive company is researching the automotive ride comfort and improving it to enhance the competitive power of their own automotive productions. Automotive steering-wheel vibration has more effect on the automotive ride comfort, the safety of the automobile driving.Taken example for solving real engineering problem, the methods and steps for the analysis of the steering-wheel vibration is discussed. Main contents of the paper is described as follows:(1) To provide a appraisal standard for the research of the steering-wheel vibration, it is necessary to find a objective evaluating indicator. The equivalent average of the steering-wheel vibrating acceleration include the vibrating intension and frequency component, therefore it is fit for the steering-wheel vibrating evaluation. At the same time, it is easy to calculate by using HEAD ArtemiS software.
