EPS is a kind of power steering system following the system ofhydraulic,EPS have outstanding performance characteristics comparedwith the traditional steering system: environmental protection, energypreservation, little volume and the power can be adjusted. EPS isreplacing the traditional hydraulic pressure steering system in the fields ofthe car and light-duty automobile。EPS has already become one of thetechnology of research focus and front of automobile technicaldevelopment of the world, and it has extensive application prospect。Theperformance test system of auto electrical power steering controller ishelpful to the improvement and development of the EPS products, so theresearch on the subject is very necessary and valuable.In the performance test system of auto electrical power steeringcontroller, some electricity and non-electricity are measured by thecorresponding sensors. Including: vehicle speed,resistance torque of thesystem, the major torque and the steering angle of the steering wheel inthe EPS, the current voltage and torque of the power motor. These datatogether with the control variable of the ECU (electric control unit) willbe transmitted to the industrial control test microcomputer by the RS232cluster and PCI-7438 multifunctional data collection clip. The data andmain parameters will of the system process will be displaced and will besaved in the Microsoft Access to analysis the variables in the EPS system.Thus the performance of EPS can be analyzed. The device can beadjusted to be the first-rank work state by changing some hardware andsoftware aspects of the ECU (electric control unit) in the EPS device, thusit can provide experience and material which can be used for referencesto the development of the electrical power steering devices.The main conclusions in the paper are listed below:1)The necessity to develop the test-bed computer measure system ofthe automobile power steering controller performance is analyzed. Basedon the analysis, some advanced test measures for the test-bed computermeasure system are put forward, including the design ideology, integralscheme and the key technology of the hardware and software in theprocess.2)The software for the test-bed measure system of the electricalpower steering controller performance was designed on theC++Builder6.0 platform in the Windows environment.3)Based on the analysis of the cause of the locale jamming,Theanti-jamming measures was brought forward from the two aspect ofhardware and softwar.5)In the locale test application of the national ninth "challengecup" college science innovation competition, the design of the test-bedcomputer measure system of the automobile power steering controllerperformance proved to be feasible and right. It will get broad applicationprospect.The test system developed in the paper is proved to be feasible andefficient, but in the research process, there are still some problems to beimproved and competed.
