Research On Developing An Available Vehicle Traveling Data Recorder

The vehicle traveling data recorder is a system of tailing and recording the status of vehicle timing traveling, which is made based on the principle of airplane"Black Box"for reducing the traffic accident's occurrence rate and inquiring and according the timing vehicle traveling data to judge the driver's driving status after the traffic accident occurrence, it's be called"Car Black Box"sometimes.The study of the vehicle traveling data recorder is existed very early in inland and outland, 90 years of 20 centuries along with the fast development of technology and science and car market, a lot of graduate schools and company start to research and exploit the vehicle traveling data recorder, and many related production appear in the market. For enhancing the criterion of the vehicle traveling data recorder, Nation issued the standard of GB/T 19056-2003 on April 15, 2003, and practice on September 1, 2003.This system is exploited completely according to National standard of vehicle traveling data recorder, can implement all of the function of the National standard of vehicle traveling data recorder, including date, time, car speed, mileage, start time, stop time, driving time, over speed, overtime, alarm of over speed and overtime, status identify of IC card, and many kind of status of on-off signal, including on-off vehicle door, brake status, turn signal status, dipped headlight and high beam etc.. The data of the recorder can be transferred to U dish using the USB and the recorder can communicate with PC through RS232C interface, the data of the recorder can be analyzed using the software. The recorder has a printer inside it, can print the related data according to the national standard format.This thesis primarily discussed the realizing project of the system. Because my task primarily is hardware and system debug, therefore this thesis emphasize particularly on hardware principle and system debug etc. Still it includes some software procedure, primarily is printer driver and USB driver etc.
