Development And Research Of The CAD System For Design Of The Reinforced Concrete Chimney

Because of the speciality of the structures and loads of Reinforced concrete chimney, there is not yet of commercialized software that can be fit for the works their analysis and design very well. Aiming to solving the deficiency and base on the 《Codes for design of chimney》 (GB50051-2002) ,the Reinforced concrete chimney CAD (RCC-CAD)System has been designed, which achieves the whole automation design from structure analysis to drawing of engineering drawing.This software takes AutoCAD2002 as the graphic supporting platform, and employs Visual C++6.0 which is object-oriented as the developing platform, and applies the libraries and classes the AutoCAD development tool-ObjectARX2000 provided. And this paper has achieved these goals as follows:(l)Base on the 《Codes for design of chimney》 , the software can accurately calculate loads and area of reinforcing bar.(2) The software can check computations validity of the known result.(3)According to the specification, experts' experience and the designing custom, it has produced a test-steel-selecting method, and has got satisfactory and practical steel selecting outcome.(4)The software employs Visual C++6.0 to design the pre- processing system, which has friendly User Interface, and meet habit of engineers and designers.(5) The software employs ObjectARX to visit CAD graphic database, achieve function of the plotting- module. The software can also create table of steel which can be checked by designer.This software RCC-CAD is of momentous practical significance and wide applied prospect, which is a expedient tool using for drawing of working drawing of the reinforces concrete chimney, which will accelerate the application of CAD technology in the structural design for reinforce concrete chimney.
