Research And Development Of The CAD Program For Cylinder Wall Structure Of RC Chimney

As a important building in industrial architecture,chimney is widely used in chemical,metallurgy,electricity and other industries,which is essential for the development of related industries.Though it have a simple shape,but it have a complexity mechanic act,it belong to tall and slender special structure,the horizon load have a great impact on its mechanic act.It also influenced by the geological and climatic environment,so its design constraint is great.For the inconvenience of operation,dysfunction and inaccuracy of calculation of the several CAD software in design and development in domestic,the new published edition of "chimney design specification" and the revise of the related rules,the software can't meet the demand of the current chimney design.For the shortcomings I said above,the paper illustrate the develop of the chimney design program,which based on C++ computer language,the platform of Windows and the integrated developing environment of VS 2005,the tool of ObjectARX is used in this software.To the design of steel and reinforced concrete chimney,it have many advantages:friendly interactive environment,full functions and accuracy calculation.The main achievement of this paper is as follows:1 According to the modular design idea and the core design conception based on engineering data in BIM,a new optical design is given to the organized framework and data storage.2 It have a feature of full function,open parameter setting,convenience operation.3 Adopting the style of separated data and method,we write the interface function and structure analysis calculation function,which can be used in calculating load effect,inter force analysis,stress calculation and crack checking and steel auto-arrangement.4 Adopting the international development in Office2007,the chimney engineering data is transferred,it can generated EXCEL files and Chinese and English computing file.5 Based on the graphic database of AutoCAD,the sub-module of the chimney cylinder wall drawing is compiled,which can be used to dock the chimney engineering database and realize the function of automatic drawing of the cylinder wall.
