PROFIBUS is a widely utilized standardized solution and influences the market greatly among the present all kinds of Fieldbus standardized solutions. The PROFIBUS-DP is an advanced industrial network available for PLC system. The widely utilization of Fieldbus products in process control area made the development of such products a prospective future.This paper theoretically analyzes PROFIBUS fiedbus and designs a intelligent PROFIBUS-DP controller slaver based on PROFIBUS-DP protocol. The software part of the whole system consists of host computer's software,DP main station's software and slave station's software.Host computer set PID parameter,control model select code, control measure preconcert value, watch and control the controller on line;DP main station configure slave station, transfer PID parameter, control model select code. control measure preconcert value, locale parameter;slavestation accept parameter from main station, select and realize three PID control arithmetic, export control measure.Besides pay attention to performance price ratio in Hardware component selection, in this circuit design of the we have made a controller which have a DP interface,digital, intelligent, duplexing and high speed I/O device, we respectively designed input circuit output circuit which are mutually independent, assembling these circuits can accomplish correspond complicated control function. As to design of the software function, we pay attention to practicability and reliability. The system software adopted structured program design technique. The slaver adopted PID control algorithm can realize the optimum control on the whole control system.It proves the controller performance stabilization,credibility,simple practicality through applying it in the boiler water temperature control system in the device EFPT-1-101B of the lab.
