Profibus Fieldbus And Its Applied Research In The Hvdc System

This thesis first introduced Profibus technology, second studied Profibus-DP witch is one of Profibus protocols, and applied it into Hign Voltage Direct Current transmit (HVDC) control and protect system's field control.This thesis associated with the communication system of HVDC, investigated the realization of Profibus controlling system, designed decentralized field control device which based on Profibus-DP protocol and to serve as a decentralized field control device in a microprocessor based station control and monitoring system. With its design, InfineonC166 family microcontroller was selected as controller; SPC3 was selected to realize profibus protocol; doubleport RAM was select to realize the data exchange between controllers; and TASKING EDE compiler was used to design the microcontroller. After been test, the intelligent slave relized the communication with calss 1st master SIMADYN D or class 2nd master PC+CP5613, and was proved to satisfies the requirement of HVDC control and protect system.
