With the increasing of the amount of the vehicle,the worse of the quality of the air and the decreasing of the oil resource day by day,it is a urgent task to develop lower-pollution and lower-fuel hybrid electrical vehicle.Automated mechanical transmission becomes the first choice as its especial advantage. Based on the sufficient research of the development of the hybrid electrical vehicle and the automated mechanical transmission,it analyses the total structure form and the driving form of one kind of hybrid electrical vehicle,and based on it ,it offers the total designing method of the automated mechanical transmission , which is applied to one kind of hybrid electrical vehicle.With the base of comparing it with traditional vehicle,it describes the controlling system structure theory and process.It finishes the compare and designing of the implement machine,and based on shifting quality , it discusses in detail the method,which can be used to make the shifting quality better. It sets up a platform,which can be used to test the function of the automated mechanical transmission,and it also offers the aimed value of the function.The automated mechanical transmission which has been designed is tested on it.It comments on the testing value. It indicates by experiment that the automated mechanical transmission based on the theory and the process can supply a need to the vehicle function.It gets agreement from national "863 plan"project committee.
