Parameter optimization of controller directly influences control results and hasin touch with safety and economy of units. Particle swarm optimization (PSO)algorithm, a new evolutionary algorithm, performs efficient and heuristic search, notblindfold and completely stochastic searching, so this thesis uses PSO to optimizecontroller's parameters. Based on the research of PSO algorithmic theory, itsastringency has been proved preliminarily and some improved measures that aredynamic variables interval strategy and reboot means have been given. The combinecontrol of fuzzy controller and PID controller used PSO to optimize its parametershas better robustness and stiffness. The simulation result in main steam temperaturecontrol system shows its feasibility and effectiveness.
