Study On Mountain Torrent Disaster Of Shandong Province Based On GIS

Mountain torrent disaster is a kind of Natural hazards in the mountains because of heavy rain. Debris flows ,torrents and coasts are all Mountain torrent disasters .The death toll and treasure loss caused by mountain torrents rised quickly in Shandong province recent years. In a densly populated province like ShanDong Mountain torrent disaster prevention is of great importance.Deeply study on the mountain torrent disaster in ShanDong has been made by the author based on exact surveys, various aspects are represented in the thesis such as social economy,terrain&geo,hazards etc.Characteristics, harmfulness is put forward by taking the ArcGIS8.3 as the research platform, causes of formation has been simulated through spatial-analysis technology. Then the risk's distribution of mountain torrent disaster reached after the rainfall classifying, sociall economy classifying, terrain classifying being done.Mountain torrent disaster prevention &control have been study in the Huangqian reservoir little basin as the typical little basin. Keep harmonious coexistence between man and nature, integrate water management and disaster prevention, but the latter is the most important. Above is the principle in controlling Mountain torrent disaster. The management system should base on none-engineering measurements through engineering measurements is indispensable. So we should built the early-warning information system including migrate survey, remote-measurement, computer communication, Doppler laser radar etc. based on current network.
