In lately years, people widely pay attention to wind energy because it is a regenerated cleanness energy. It began development in high rate 20 years before. Capacity of wind generators and the scale of wind farm are becoming larger and larger, but the randomness and intermittence of wind will produce disturbance on power system. Mathematical model of wind generators and wind farm should be established. Using mathematical model to substitute those parts of wind electric power system, we can calculate and analysis the variable quantity of wind electric power system. The development speed of software using to study wind electric power system is slowly. It is a fact that there is no professional software about wind electric power system at the present time.In this article , some power calculate and analysis software packages are compared, national authoritative power software -PSASP (Power System Analysis Software Package) is introduced. Using the UPI (User Program Interface) of PSASP and the dynamic link file, we can put up the models of wind velocity, wind turbine, asynchronous generator, variable-speed constant-frequency double-fed generator, and we can calculate and analysis the characters of asynchronous generator and VSCF wind electric power system. The process of alteration of wind speed, the torque variation of wind turbine and the power variation of wind turbine is simulated. It presents the principle of asynchronous generator, a variable PQ model to current calculation, a three-step transient state model . In this article, the static characters of P , Q, U of wind electric power system, the effect of capacitance, the oversize of circuit parameter (R/X) , the impact of gust and earth-fault are studied. Using the example-WSCC 9 power system (Western Systems Coordinating Council 9) , the effect of proportion of wind power is studied. It presents the principle of variable-speed constant-frequency double-fed generator, a model to current calculation, a three-step transient state model. The static and dynamic characters of variable-speed constant-frequency double-fed generator are studied.In this article, the usage of UPI and OOP (Object Oriented Program) is explored.
