The thesis has a systemic research on Modeling and Virtual Simulation of Vehicle Dynamics SystemIn this thesis, firstly the Object-Oriented Modeling theory is briefly introduced. According to it, we analyze the vehicle dynamics system and disintegrate the whole vehicle into five parts: Engine, Driving system, Braking system, Steering system and Vehicle body. And then the dynamic model, function model and object model of them are given. Based on the analysis of attributes and operations of each part, their mathematical models are constructed. Then Virtual Reality Technology and Vega are briefly introduced. We explain the configuration, working principle and based process and frame of its application program and expatiate how to use Microsoft Visual C++6.0 and Vega programming language to realize the visual scene simulation on vehicle dynamic driving on Windows Operating system. Finally the software of Vehicle Dynamic Simulation System is developed. It mainly includes five parts: object model LIB, interface of vehicle dynamic driving, Engine characteristic testing, automobile dynamical characteristic testing and evaluating, fuel economic characteristic testing and evaluating.This simulation system can be used to verify models and integrate to a whole vehicle to simulate vehicle's running condition according to different settings. It also can be used to test and evaluate engine and automobile dynamical characteristic and fuel economic characteristic. To a certain extent, it has its practicability.The simulation system is based on the Object-Oriented Modeling. So it is easy to extend and use repeatedly and make a good basement on the further study.
