With the continuous development of virtual reality technology,virtual reality technology has been widely used in urban traffic planning,traffic accident simulation and reconstruction,and vehicle virtual driving and training.Based on the investigation and analysis of the accident scene,a virtual simulation system of "man-vehicle-road" joint operation is established to objectively reproduce the complex traffic accident process and the accident scene,which provides scientific and effective technical support for the relevant departments to analyze and identify traffic accidents.In this paper,the collision accident between automobile and central isolation belt guardrail is taken as the research object.Using Creator three-dimensional modeling software,Vega Prime real-time driving simulation software and MFC secondary development platform,a virtual scene simulation system of automobile and central isolation belt guardrail collision is established,which reproduces the roaming,collision detection and collision effects of automobile in the virtual scene.The visual simulation of vehicle and fixture collision accident is carried out.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Using Creator three-dimensional modeling software,the three-dimensional model of accident scene such as automobile,terrain,building,two-way four-lane highway,road auxiliary facilities and so on is constructed.Focusing on the modeling process of automobile body,interior and highway environment,the advanced modeling and model optimization technology and related technical algorithms in Creator are briefly described.(2)The accident identification report and field survey data are analyzed,and the trajectory of vehicle collision is fitted by MATLAB.The location coordinates of each time are provided for the visual simulation of vehicle collision with central guardrail.Then,the real-time 3D virtual reality development tool Vega Prime is used to set up the function modules of threedimensional scene preview,observation channel establishment,view conversion,collision detection.Finally,the navigation and path information modules are used to add the corresponding path information to the vehicle,and the configuration and initialization of the visual simulation system are completed.(3)Configuring the compiling environment of VC++ 9.0,then add corresponding controls based on MFC dialog box to construct user-observed interaction interface.At the same time,modify and encapsulate the code in Vega Prime.Write corresponding control code for the control and call the functions in Vega Prime.Finally,develop the application program of visual simulation system based on MFC.Through the visual window of MFC dialog box,the whole process of the collision between the car and the guardrail of the central isolation belt is reproduced,and the functions of roaming,collision detection and collision effects of the car in the virtual scene are realized.
