Automobile road experiment is an important technical measure for vehicle R&D and performance appraisal.The car test site is dedicated to automotive road experiments.The enormous cost and insecurity of traditional road tests make it necessary to use computer simulation technology for studying the braking performance of automobiles.With the continuous improvement of computer hardware performance and virtual reality technology,using virtual reality technology to build automotive test sites and completing performance testing has become an effective testing method.Construct a virtual car test site and complete real-time driving of the scene using Mulitigen Creator and Vega Prime in this paper.Then based on the theory of vehicle braking,a vehicle braking visual simulation program is developed on the MFC platform.Finally,the paper use this program to complete the virtual test of vehicle braking.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The virtual vehicle test site is created by using Mulitigen Creator software.First,the database structure of the Creator software and the commonly used modeling modules are briefly introduced.Then complete the establishment of individual parts of the virtual vehicle test site,including various ancillary facilities.Finally,completing the integration of the virtual test site.This is beneficial for subsequent use in real-time driving..(2)Realization of real-time driving in virtual scenes.Using the LynX Prime visual editing window in Vega Prime to configure the created virtual scene.The vega prime software then generates an application configuration file that contains all of the virtual scene configuration information.Then the paper add a custom motion model to the vega prime software and use the path tool to complete the vehicle path setup.Finally,this paper add collision detection and show the car's roaming effect in the virtual scene.(3)Based on MFC and vega prime,a braking vision simulation application is built in the paper.First,the article describes the specific features that this application needs to implement and configure the application's build environment in Visual Studio 2005.Then the paper analyzes the test of vehicle braking performance.Then it shows the implementation process of key technologies in the application creation process,such as display of real-time data,display of running results,and output of experimental data,and finally compare virtual measurements with actual tests.
