Context Study On The Street's Facade

Street is so important city space, that the design of street has been the point mat the urban design pays attention to. The thesis does a lot of research on context of street's facade, and hopes to get some pieces of mode to build up the harmony of the context for urban design.First of all, the thesis fully discusses the conception's intension and extension, which come from the research on context of street's facade, and then unifies numerous practical issues into the common category.Then, the thesis takes the Bund, the most famous street of Shanghai, as an object of study, draws the methods and achievements from other interdisciplines such as vision recognition and vision illusion, to analyze the question of context.And then, in order to make the urban design guidelines, the thesis divides the question of context into some independent questions of main factors of context design, so as to make the provision of urban design respectively.At the end, according to the research achievements above, the thesis establishes a set of method system to help building up harmonious context of street' facade in urban design.
