The Traditional Architecture Parsing And In Heritance Of Bai In Dali

DaLi is located in the northwest of YunNan province, between the city CangShanand ErHai. Bai is an ancient nation which is feeded by cangshan and erhai fromgeneration to generation. DaLi is the economic and information hub between the centralplains and the southwest. Dali as the traditional settlements for Bai, has a uniquehistorical context and multi-national culture and regional culture. The unique residentialbuildings of Bai have taken a faithful record of the historical process of thedevelopment and evolution for the Erhai area, especially the Dali Bai. With theinfluence of the development of urban modernization, Bai traditional houses is facingthe dual pressures from the change of main living needs and the development of tourism,which is followed by the increasingly prominent crisis of the whole city, thephenomenon of convergence of the physical properties of space, the lost of thecharacteristics of ethnic minority areas and the lost of the overall settlement spacewhich is attractive and with the human scale. It’s all because the out of the geographicaland cultural background, and the lost of the original context breath of this place. Inrecent years, the chase of the original style led to the tourism boom of the edge of theregion’s. In the tourist hot spots which can stimulate the economy, the local governmentenhances the protection of historical and cultural through unifying the planning and thestyle.About the constructions in the ethnic minority areas, most of the people researchthe residential spatial pattern and architectural space layout from these perspectives:archeology, ethnology, Feng Shui, ecology and sociology. Research to explore themeaning of architecture from the perspective of context has also been quite complete. Insuch a situation, based on part region, the research theory specifically for Bai traditionalgeographical context of the evolution strategy is also one of the few, let alone applyingit to be verified in actual cases. Therefore, I hope I am able to find a suitable way for thetraditional regional cultural development of Bai through the study of this topic. Underthe influence of this situation, this article studies the way the context exists, andfurthermore, the constitute characteristics of the traditional architectural context of Bai,and how to apply it to the actual cases. I hope to be able to find a way which is suitablefor the continuation of the traditional context of the Dali region through this research.This has practical significance to the protection of the traditional architectural context of china, even the whole world.The research in this article is based on culture, and also in a multi-disciplinary way,including the subjects: folklore, sociology, feng shui, art, design, and so on. The way thecontext continuation of the tradition of architectural space is analysed for tryint torealize the harmonious unity of time and space, and to achieve the ultimate goal of manand nature coexist in harmony. In the article, firstly the concept of context is explained,at the same time, the scope of traditional architecture, traditional Bai architecture is alsodefined. Secondly, the Bai traditional architecture characteristics is divided into twotypes, explicit and invisible. Thirdly, the spatial patterns in ecology, folklore, geographyand architecture are used, with the combination of the dominant characteristics of thebuilding to study the architectural space layout. Fourthly, the invisible content of thearchitectural context is summarized through the theory of sociology, feng shui, cultural.Fifthly, Bai residential buildings are analyzed from the multi-region and all-round angle,and the law summed up from the research is also applied to the context of the evolutionstrategy. Finally, applying the principle which is used to protect the traditionalarchitectural to the realistic protection, development and design and realizing theinheritance of tradition and innovation is the key to highlight the geographical featuresand establish the image of the region.
