Biomass gasification technology is discussed in this paper and the method ofcombustion fuel coefficient is introduced in the biomass gasification of stream injectedgas turbines. Performance calculation modules of gas turbine, heat recovery steamgenerator, atmospheric condition steam dryer and water recovery in the BI/STIG systemare built;performance calculation modules of gas turbine fueling biomass fuel gas basedon variable are built. In the mean time, program of performance calculation modules forcycle systems is developed using Visual Basic 6.0. The method of gas turbine componentmodification is introduced in burning biomass gas and gas turbine performance is analyzedin burning low hot value biomass gas. Finally, the configure schemes of two typicalBI/STIG system with capacity 25 MW are presented, and system performance iscalculated and analyzed, providing technical supports for optimizing performance of theBI/STIG system later,and BI/STIG system is compared with BIGCC system ineconomic analysis.
