Exhaust fan, which is one of the mainly assistant machines in thethermodynamic energy power plant, has been a hidden trouble in the safeoperating of the thermal power plant boiler, because of its erosion.Exhaust fan has a direct influence on the safe operating of the thermalpower plant. As a Stat. in 1991, the loss amount to 1. 27 billion kW·hin power plant, which capability is over 100MW, because of exhaust fan'sfailure. It is clear that improving the reliability of fan is very necessaryto the safe movement of the power station.The article aims at the concrete problem of erosion the exhaust fan of#4 boiler of the LINGQUAN power plant, Thorough analyze the reason of thefan's erosion and put forward an improvement and prevent and cure to erosionfurther occurrence physically, and being carried on the LINGQUAN powerstation, the improvement result is obvious, obtaining the result for givingsatisfaction.This article divides into four parts, the first part mainly elaboratedthe background and meaning of choosing the thesis. The second part mainlyis the inside mechanism in the fan's erosion, which is obtained throughembedded study and research. The third part mainly is put forward severalprocessing methods on the foundation of analysis of fan's erosion, accordingto engineering actual demand, and carry on economic analysis, which makesthe decision of the exhaust fan's erosion more scientifically andeconomically. The forth part is the summary and the outlook of the wholepaper.
