On-line Monitoring Of Boiler Feed Water Pump And Its Driving Turbine

Boiler feed water pumps and the driving turbines are one of the most importantauxiliary equipments in thermal power plants. In this paper, the detailed structure,technical parameters etc. of boiler feed water pumps and driving turbines were described.The typical common faults and treatment and risk areas of components were concludedafter a detailed analysis on history statistics in power plant. Based on the primaryconclusions, the paper had tried to make a risk analysis on the pump and driving turbine,which was respected to get an indicative risk measurement about the components.Also, under the development of an on-line monitoring system for boiler feed waterpump and driving turbine, the detailed arithmetic for the real time performance modulewere described. The thermal dynamic method for the pump and the modified flugelformulas for the driving turbine had been applied with an aim to get better results.Some conclusions and data processing methods were respected to be reference orguidance for the development and research of on-line monitoring systems for similarequipments.
