In order to achieve the microelectronic control by using fuel ejection system of PRVI(Pump-Rail-Valve-Injector) on four-cylinder dimethyl ether engine, the electric control element ECU for four-cylinder dimethyl ether engine has been explored. During the working process, ECU would carry out both the data processing of signals from sensors and control calculating. ECU would use the rotating speed of engine, load, etc as input parameters, control the ejection pressure and speed according to the pressure MAP data under corresponding working condition, ensure the ejection timing, ejection impulse width, and other controlling quantities according to the control MAP data, to realize the function of ECU logic control.ECU would adopt the couple sing chip structure, and externally expand Flash memorizer to memorize the MAP data. Modulization and subprogram structure would be utilized to develop the ECU software, including management module of engine, control module and computer inspection system. The PIC assembly language would be used to explore management module of engine and control module, and the Visual Basic to the computer inspection system. In order to test the reliability and real-time ability of ECU software, the engine simulative experiment has been carried out on the oil pump test-rig. The test result is that ECU could commendably attain the aim of data collecting, processing and independent logic controlling of respective cylinder under three different electric control modes, including single chip, computer and real-time controlling modes.
