With the stronger environmental consciousness of the pollution, Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) has to face both opportunities and challenges at the same time, as the major product to prevent the pollution of the environment. An integrated HV-LV controller of the ESP based on dual-microprocessor offers users reasonable design and powerful function. The using of the dual-microprocessor not only solve the hardware bottleneck of the system development, but also fit for the real-time request, so system capability is enhanced and effect is improved. The applications of automation and computer technology in the remote monitoring reduce manpower cost of management and strengthen the competition of product.The paper introduces Electrostatic Precipitator Integrated Controller (EPIC) System, and mainly focuses on the hardware and software design of EPIC controller. The controller is made up of man-machine interface and HV-LV power supply. And we adopt the embedded microprocessors ARM & DSP respectively to design them. The embedded real-time operation system μC/OS-Ⅱ and the embedded WEB server TCP/IP Lean are used to construct Ethernet server. Then PC can achieve remote data transmission by network. Dual-port RAM is used as the data bridge between ARM and DSP. We also formulate the communication protocol and data check to make sure communication is correct and efficient.
