Substation is an important and indispensable part in power system, which undertakes the task of transforming and distributing of electrical power and plays an important role in security and economy of operation of power grid. One solution to it is to realize Substation Automation by employing computer technology,power electronics, and communication technologies, which raise reliability and reduce cost of the grid operation.The key of Substation Automation technologies is the realization of communication technique. The internal communication network and system of substations are studied .After summarizing the development and future of Substation Automation Communication Technologies, two problems are pointed out:1)Part of IED in substation can't connect to the Ethernet network because of without Ethernet interfaces; 2)The dual-Ethernet switch time of dual-Ethernet communication in substation is longer. Aiming at the two problems, the thesis proposes the communication project of dual-Embedded Ethernet.The main contents of the thesis are following:(1) Base on the analysis of the development and future of Substation Automation Communication Technologies, two problems are pointed out .so the thesis proposes the communication project of dual-Embedded Ethernet. The hardware-software system of the dual-Embedded Ethernet communication is designed and the key technical problems of realizing the application of dual-Embedded Ethernet to communication system in substation are expounded in respect of hardware design and software programming.(2) The distribution and characteristic of data flow within substation are studied systemically and subsequently the mathematical models of different kinds of data flow within substation are developed according to their statistical characteristics. How to apply the grouping broadcasting technique to the embedded Ethernet data transmission in transformer substation, based on studying the tradition embedded Ethernet data transfers mode.(3)First the request of message in transformer substation communication net.; The fact of some communication net performance analysis project applied in transformer substation. And dynamic simulation method OPNET is used to study the average and maximum delay of embedded Ethernet. The real time influence of the TCP/IP...
