| Bio-toilets were given much attention and were gradually applied nowadays, as they can save water resource, keep clean and dispose dejecta together with urine on the pot.There are two kinds of bio-toilet.Composite Bio-toilets can preferablly dispose dejecta together with urine, whereas, at present, there are still some problems about the technology of this kind of bio-toilets,such as high energe consumption, finite disposal capacity, complex disposal system.Consequently, the development of bio-toilets in our country is resticted. Separate bio-toilet can avoid these problems, at the same time, the disposal of urine have not been settled. Straightway dischanged urine will pollute enwironment and water body.This paper investigates the treatment methods of urine assembled separately from bio-toilets.According to the high concentration of contamination in urine,this paper tries to dispose urine with chemical preparations and EM (effective microorganisms) .The experiments on chemical dephosphorization, treatment impression of urine by EM, treatment urine by chemical preparations associated with EM were done, respectively.The experiment on dephosphorization by chemical precipitation showed that phosphate removal rate was more than 90%, the amount of calcium chloride needed was 4g/L.In experiment on treatment urine by EM, some important affecting factors which was the amount of EM, adding fashion of EM, temperature and aeration time were reviewed. It showed that reasonable amount of EM was 1/100, reasonable aeration time was 12h,reaction temperature should be 25 ℃. After 12 days, the removal rate of organic compound, ammonia nitrogen in urine and was76.3 %,85.9%respectively.Based on frontal experiment, the study on treatment urine by chemical preparations associated with EM was done. It demonstrated that it was more reasonable to treat urine together with wastewater from hand cleaning in bio toilets. It would benefit the action of EM. Chemical preparations and EM consumption would not increase. The removal rate of organic compound, ammonia nitrogen , phosphate in mixture of urine and wastewater from hand cleaning was87.3 % ,92.0 % and93.9%,respectively. In effluent, organic compound was263mg/L, ammonia nitrogen was 123mg/L, phosphate was5.8mg/L.In the end, the analysis on economic feasibility demonstrated that the urine disposal technics will cost around 4400$ every year, when average person-time was 1000 per day. |
